Welcome to The Pump House Surgery

The Pump House Surgery is a much loved rural practice having been established in the village over 200 years ago.  We are a four-partner GMS rural practice working from modern purpose built facilities.  We cover the village of Earls Colne and surrounding areas.  We have a full complement of dispensary, nursing and administrative staff. The surgery is a pleasing environment, having been sympathetically converted from a former steel foundry 14 years ago.  The rooms are spacious and well equipped.

Our Mission Statement

We aim to provide a comfortable and cheerful atmosphere for all of our patients and will always treat you with the utmost respect.

The Pump House Surgery is to use the funds allocated to them for Health Care to reduce morbidity and improve the quality of life for it patient population, by offering a caring medical service of the highest quality based on established professional standards that satisfies the needs of our patients and is provided by professionally competent, content and motivated staff.  We are committed to quality and innovation.

We are a very friendly practice and hope you will find us helpful with any of your medical requirements.

______________________________________________________________________

From April 2015 all practices are required to provide their patients with a named, accountable GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that the surgery provides to them.

As we have just under 8,000 registered patients, it would be an impossible task to inform you all individually by letter so, should you wish to know who your GP is, we ask that you please speak to our receptionists who will gladly give you this information.  Having a named GP does not prevent you from seeing any other GP in the practice at any time.

Should you wish to change your named GP in the future please contact us and arrangements can be made.  You do not need to take any further action, but if you have any questions, or wish to discuss this further, please speak to our reception staff.

TELEPHONE LINES ARE OPEN 8.00 - 6.30 - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Please note that all calls to the surgery are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

THE SURGERY IS CLOSED BETWEEN 1.00PM & 2.00PM FOR STAFF TRAINING.
